We seek to provide a consolation at the time of death--through preparation for the funeral mass and committal; ongoing support; caring communications through outreach phone calls; and special gatherings especially around the Feast of All Souls.
"The responsibility for the ministry of consolation rests with the believing community, which heeds the words and example of the Lord Jesus: 'Blessed are they who mourn; they shall be consoled.' (Matthew 5:3) Each Christian share in this ministry according to their varied gifts."
