April 15, 2023Bob served in the United States Army as a Corporal in the Cold War. He entered the Army in 1953 as an army medic at the station in Salzburg Austria - Camp Truscott the 109th Field Hospital. Later this camp's name was changed to the U.S. Army Hospital. He worked at Gleason Works for 45 years. Bob was a member of the West Walworth Fire Department for over sixty years and was a member of the Macedon Senior Citizens group. Bob and Helen were married at St. Joseph’s when it was the “church on the hill” and were parishioners throughout their lives. Bob was a favorite west transept usher.
