This year, the Church of the Holy Spirit and St. Joseph’s are more intentionally collaborating across ministries as sister parishes, especially in the areas of Faith Formation K-5, Youth Ministry, Adult Formation, and some administration functions.
In our shared Catholic identity, Holy Spirit and St. Joseph’s are committed to a spirituality of stewardship, a way of life that recognizes everything we have as a gift from our loving God. Each of us has been blessed with beautifully diverse gifts of the Spirit, talents and charisms implanted in our very being so that they can be shared for the good of all God’s people. If you know you want to give of your most precious gift—you time—but you don’t know where to start, one of our staff members would be happy to talk with you and help you find a ministry niche that suits your gifts, especially in one of our COVID-19 "ministries of the moment."
As we continue to thrive during the current coronavirus pandemic, we look forward to when more of our ministries can resume in person, paving the way for more ways for you to get involved. Stay tuned for more information on ways to participate online or in person! May Holy Spirit and St. Joseph’s always provide welcoming spiritual homes for all who seek Christ.
Always be assured of my prayers for you and your family,
Fr. Jim
