Other than a 7-year move back to Milwaukee, Sharon had been a parishioner at St. Joseph’s since 1973. Sharon would like to be remembered for the love she had for her husband and children, her love of books, history, education, and her enjoyment of cooking and baking for family and friends.
Sylvia was a parishioner at St. joseph’s Church. Her children and grandkids credit her for many things…their love of classical music, books, birds & animals. They learned about taking care of others and how to make Christmas cookies. She was genuine with her love of family.
Carmine was a parishioner who loved his beautiful Italian family. He and his wife Immacolata were an enduring example of the sacrament of marriage, as they were married for 48 happy years. He was happiest when he was with family.
Carmelo was a carpenter and worked at Delco for about 30 years. He was a parishioner at St. Joseph’s since 1973. Carmelo went to church every Sunday, Holy days and holidays. He went every week until it got too hard for him to go. Even when he stopped going to church, he continued to receive Holy communion.
Chuck graduated from Aquinas Institute in 1955 and received his Master’s Degree in Education from Brockport in 1961. He had a prestigious career in education with the Fairport School District for 30 years. Chuck was an active parishioner of St. Joe’s for 53 years. He loved participating in his Bible studies and Christ Life. Chuck was a minister of Communion at Grand Vie and a friend to many in the parish community.
Family was the most important thing to George. He was an engineer at Kodak for many years. George was a parishioner at St. Joseph’s since 1974. He was involved in Coffee Hours, and small group bible study groups. He attended church every Sunday.
Rosemarie worked as a German translator for Siemens in the Empire State Building and at Kodak. She became a stay-home mom after she had her children. Rosemarie was a parishioner at St. Joseph’s for 43 years, since 1978. She was involved in bible study groups, children’s liturgy, adoration, prayer groups, and festival of praise. She attended healing masses and took part in Christ Life program. She was a devout Catholic that attended mass every Sunday and on holy days, went to confession frequently, said the rosary daily, watched daily mass on TV, went on pilgrimages to Fatima, Lourdes & Betania, and attended right to life marches. She was also involved with the Sisters of Mercy.
